  • Special Education Parent Involvement Survey

    The 2017-2018 Virginia Department of Education Parent Involvement Survey collection period is upon us. Families who have more than one child receiving special education services should take the opportunity to complete a survey for each of their children. The VDOE has renewed its goal of increasing the number of survey responses we receive.

    The online survey is now open and will be available until December 14, 2018. The survey is available for completion in English and Spanish at the following websites:

  • School Board Meetings

    Regular Meeting

    The regular monthly meeting of the Rockbridge County School Board will be held on Tuesday, October 9th at 5:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Rockbridge County School Board Office, 2893 Collierstown Road, Lexington, VA 24450. School board agendas and other ancillary documents are available through the Rockbridge County Schools BoardDocs Site three days prior to the school board meeting.

    Joint Meeting

    There will be a joint meeting of the Rockbridge County School Board and the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of
    discussion. The meeting will be held at the Rockbridge County School Board Office, 2893
    Collierstown Road, Lexington, Virginia 24450.

    Rockbridge County High School graduates from the Classes of 2010 to the present can obtain transcripts by eTranscript/Parchment at the RCHS website: The contact for these requests is Lisa VanRavenswaay at the RCHS Guidance Department (540-463-6150). RCHS Alumni who graduated prior to 2010 can request transcripts from Bernadette Crews at the Rockbridge County Public Schools School Board Office by phone (540-463-7386) or in person.
