VALLSS is the new Virginia Department of Education’s sponsored literacy screener - It is replacing the PALS literacy assessment. During the 2024-2025 school year, students in preschool through third grade will be screened using this tool at the beginning, middle, and end of the year. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

RCPS Students Receive Nutritious Meals at No Cost! All students attending any school in Rockbridge County Public Schools are eligible to receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each school day. You do not have to take any action.

Public Meeting - Please be advised that the School Board / Board of Supervisors Executive Committee will meet on Thursday, August 15, at 5:00 P.M. at the Rockbridge County Schools Transportation Office located at 210 Greenhouse Rd, Lexington, followed by a tour of the Rockbridge County High School Innovation Center located at 143 Greenhouse Rd, Lexington.
