  • RCPS Comprehensive Plan Released!

    Please click below to see the latest Rockbridge County Public Schools Comprehensive Plan that was recently approved by the RCPS School Board. This critical document will help gude our school division for the next several years. Thanks again to all who participated in the survey, as well as those who graciously served on the committee to bring this document together.  We are excited about the direction we are headed and look forward to sharing it with you as we move forward!

  • School Board Meetings

    Regular Meeting

    The next regular meeting of the Rockbridge County School Board will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 5:00pm. The meeting will be held at the County of Rockbridge Administration Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, VA 24450.

    Special Meeting

    In correlation to "VSBA Take Your Legislator to School Month", there will be a special meeting of the Rockbridge County School Board on December 12, 2019 beginning at 11:30am for the purpose of a brief tour of the Natural Bridge Elementary School facilities with Delegate Ronnie Campbell.  The group will meet at Natural Bridge Elementary School, 42 Natural Bridge School Road, Natural Bridge Station, Virginia.

  • Records Request

    Rockbridge County High School graduates from the Classes of 2010 to the present can obtain transcripts by eTranscript/Parchment at the RCHS website: http://rchs.rockbridge.k12.va.us. The contact for these requests is Lisa VanRavenswaay at the RCHS Guidance Department (540-463-6150). RCHS Alumni who graduated prior to 2010 can request transcripts from Kelly Cox at the Rockbridge County Public Schools School Board Office by phone (540-463-7386) or in person. To obtain GED certificates, go to ged.com.

  • Per Pupil Expenditure Estimate

    Section 22.1-92 of the Code of Virginia requires that each division superintendent prepare and distribute per pupil expenditure estimates to parents of children in the school division.  These estimates include all phases of instruction, administration, transportation, operations and maintenance, and food service.
