Ms. Fitzgerald Music Director
Mrs. Miranda Fitzgerald, Mrs. Fitz, is a native of the Shenandoah Valley. In 2015, she graduated from Bridgewater College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and her education certification in vocal and instrumental music. The start of her career was in elementary music, but she was always dreaming of when she would be a choir or band director. Thanks to Rockbridge County, not only has she been able to achieve both of those dreams, but she has been privileged to work with two fantastic middle school band programs as well as help reintroduce theatre to the high school. Mrs. Fitz lives in Lexington with her husband and her two cats, Maggie and Hazel. She enjoys a myriad of hobbies but is most happy with a warm drink, a cozy spot, and a book or a movie for entertainment. Mrs. Fitz always knew she wanted to be a teacher and she is grateful to be working within the Lexington/Rockbridge Community.
