Attendance Policy

  • All Virtual PE 9 Students are REQUIRED to attend an in-person Virtual PE Orientation Session at 8 am on June 2nd at RCHS.

    Students taking Driver's Ed will be required to participate in a two-hour virtual class every morning at 8 am. They will be allowed to miss four (4) days and still earn credit. Please plan accordingly. Teachers will take attendance daily. Planned absences should be communicated to Summer School administrators as soon as possible.

Required Technology

  • An RCPS-Issued Chromebook will be required to complete coursework. Health and PE 9 students will pick up their Chromebooks at the Orientation Session on June 2nd. Health and PE 10 and Economics and Personal Finance students may pick up a Chromebook from the RCHS Technology Department beginning on Monday, June 2.  

Registration Information

  • Registration forms are available from your teacher or in the School Counseling Office.  The deadline to register is May 9.

Fees

  • The cost of Summer School is $100 per course due at the time of registration. Please make checks payable to Rockbridge County High School.

Economics & Personal Finance

  • Economics and Personal Finance Students are required to come to RCHS during the last week of Summer School to take the W!SE Certification test. Please take this into consideration when making your Summer Plans.
