VALLSS Testing VALLSS is the new Virginia Department of Education’s sponsored literacy screener. It is replacing the PALS literacy assessment. During the 2024-2025 school year, students in preschool through third grade will be screened using this tool at the beginning, middle, and end of the year. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
